The Host: DAVID COHEN

David Cohen has been in sales and marketing since 1986. In 1999 a career and life shift occurred and he began to coach and train small business owners and hasn't looked back. Since then, David has taught over 2500 clients through various government sponsored small business and economic development learning initiatives and programs.

Today, David is a business coach and facilitator working with new business start-ups in the Ontario Self Employment Benefit program at Essential Communications in Whitby and Job Skills in Toronto. David has taught youth, women and newcomers to Canada, having worked with the Women's Entrepreneur Program at Microskills and the Youth Self Employment Programs at YES (Youth Employment Services). He also headed up the Entrepreneurship Training Programs for Newcomers to Canada at the Learning Enrichment Foundation and has done marketing services work with Microskills and with Future Watch a leading Environmental learning organization.

David is active, if it's not working with several government sponsored training programs or speaking at a conference, he is then also working on marketing his book or hosting and producing radio show projects all geared to helping small business owners grow.

His specialty is in teaching sales and marketing programs...and leads a compelling sales/business development program centered around a " 6 Step Sales Process"...and somehow he makes the notion of following a process fun, creative and engaging.

David is a sought after coach and speaker in both the non-profit and for profit business organizations as well.

David was also the host and producer of the Small Business Big Ideas Radio Show from (August 17th, 2002-October 4th 2009) on CKDO 1580 AM and 107.7 FM in Oshawa and is currently hosting the same show online on "Radio That Doesn't Suck" dot com each Monday night at 9 pm... he is proud as "punch" to release Bust Out-Ignite your inner entrepreneur. Todd has 8 years of internet radio experience, creating and hosting on demand radio shows from around the globe. He is expert in the technical side of radio and also an accomplished musician, interviewer and host on his own radio station (Radio That doesn’t Suck dot com) He is always looking to syndicate the shows that air on RTDS (dot ca), or obtain provide content for terrestrial stations, satellite or other internet stations.

Todd is also a consultant and focuses on the high tech world…with his specialties including: Technical Writing, Editing, Training Specialist, Documentation Control.
