Change is Good

CHANGE IS GOOD:

We have are blending our work under one banner. Our learning, coaching and radio show is now all under one roof and I am now branding the business under the SBBI brand, or the Small Business Big Ideas banner.

For first timers to the site...the change doesn't mean much to you...but as recently as August 2008, I had two companies. The Technicolour Umbrella was the coaching, training company and the radio show was under the Small Business Big Ideas heading.

What happened over the summer has been a transformation of our work and my life. I know it's not cool to get personal on a website...but if you can learn through me, then maybe I have helped you in some way. I had to do a real examination of our goals. We are now branding everything under SBBI. When I thought about this change, I really had to think about what it is I do and what am I passionate about.

I like you in your business have gone through some personal changes this last while, my business included. I am on route to shedding about 60 pounds and am down about 35 so far since May 1st, 2008...and it's the end of August when I wrote this...

In both my life and work it's about me getting to my core truth...what is it that I am here to do? What is my purpose? What is the direction moving forward? What it all comes down too is that my life’s work is about being a stand for the little guy…the small business owner.

Believe me, there are challenges too…getting training gigs or coaching contracts or locking in an advertiser is a tough way to make a living sometimes...but it's what I love to do and it's where I feel I can contribute to you the best. So when you do what you love to do, the tougher days seem to not have so much of an effect on you. It's vital to keep going and make that extra cold call, or find a new client. Just keep it happening, because opportunities are all around us.

Personally, I am fully alive when I teach a group, coach and host the radio show I do each week. It is really rewarding work and I thank you for allowing the opportunity to connect and work with you in some way.

I am a stand for helping small business owners succeed. I am a stand for you living your gifts, doing what brings you joy and doing it well.

It's as simple as that.

Are you doing something each day that brings you joy and pleasure? Are you healthy? Do you have balance in your life?

Then good, you are well on your way to success on your terms.

We are expanding our coaching and learning services and soon we will be selling products now as well.

I am probably pickier than you when it comes to our service and product offering and I only want to give you the ideas and tools that can really help you succeed. That is really what it's all about.
